Illustrations

Service & Sacrifice

This illustration features my uncle and cousin, created as a personal project to honor their service and experiences. Using Adobe Illustrator, I developed stylized portraits and combined them with a global travel-themed background to reflect their journeys.

The project focused on refining vector illustration techniques and creating a cohesive composition that balances character design with environmental storytelling.

Lowrider Legacy

This illustration was created as a birthday gift, capturing the connection between my uncle and his 1964 Impala. Designed in Adobe Illustrator, the piece emphasizes clean shapes, color accuracy, and simplified forms.

The project challenged me to match real-life details while maintaining a stylized aesthetic, resulting in a meaningful and personalized final piece.

Blas the Rabbit
Conejo Blas

This zine project reimagines the Mexican children’s song “Conejo Blas” through illustrated storytelling. I translated and adapted the narrative into a visual format, focusing on clarity, pacing, and cohesion.

The project involved sourcing references, tracing, and refining illustrations while maintaining a consistent visual style. It highlights my ability to combine cultural storytelling with graphic design principles.
